NOVUM RECORDS SUMMER INTERNSHIPS

We are currently seeking summer interns to work from our headquarters in Lewisville, TX. If you are not in the Dallas area, you may work remotely, with a week or two of local onboarding (travel and expenses covered). This position is paid, consisting of a small monthly stipend. And yes, you will make coffee runs, and we will make the order obnoxiously complicated (this is a great example of sarcasm).

MARKETING INTERN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement best practices for social media strategies, helping to drive engagement and create growth.

  • Collaborate with Project Managers to create and schedule marketing emails for upcoming releases and other news. Mailchimp or similar platform experience preferred, but not required.

  • Assist with website improvements. Squarespace experience preferred, but not required.

  • Work with leadership to further define the NOVUM RECORDS brand, including creating a style guide and other relevant documentation.

  • Required to be on site to assist as needed with one of our biggest recording projects of the year. This will take place between July 31 - August 8 at our studio partner Sound Machine Studio. Travel expenses will be covered.

DIGITAL MEDIA INTERN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with the Marketing Intern to create numerous graphics for social media, email marketing.

  • Assist with creating album artwork, and album layouts. Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or InDesign required.

  • Capture and edit professional photos (headshots, lifestyle, etc.) with NOVUM RECORDS artists. You must own a DSLR or other high-quality camera. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and/or Lightroom required.

  • Collaborate with NOVUM RECORDS artists to create video content, including but not limited to music videos, song stories, social media etc. You must own a DSLR or other high-quality camera. Proficiency in Final Cut and/or Adobe Premier Pro required.

  • Work with leadership to further define the NOVUM RECORDS brand, including creating a style guide and other relevant documentation.

  • Required to be on site to assist as needed with one of our biggest recording projects of the year. This will take place between July 31 - August 6 at our studio partner Sound Machine Studio. Travel expenses will be covered.
